    Yamaha '82 IT 465? opinions?

    i may be picking up an 82 IT465 that runs strong...decent shape.....anyways...anyone have any expreicace with them? any perticular problems i should look out for besides the normal stuff? where they an allright bike? like reliability kinda..?? thanks

    There are sure to be plenty guys over at dirtrider.net that are familiar with them. I know I saw a pages long thread bashing the YZ490 for various problems, but the older 465 was apparently a much better bike overall.

    i will have to check out that site, thanks, ! i did get the bike and i love the arm ripping toqe these things put out!!
