Wow.. you cannot beat that for $300!! I have tires close to that on my 250SX, only the V tread is facing towards the front of the bike, and they do AWESOME in mud.

Ya I don't know why he mounted the v tread going that way.
I switched the rims around to fix that after work.

I couldn't tell from the pictures, but you said earlier the valve stems were not out. SO you have them so the valve stems are on the outside AND have the V pattern in the correct direction?? I'm not sure off hand whether the 350X rim is an offset rim or not.... never looked that close cause I always know the valve stems are out, and I do not have directional tires on it. Just make sure you have "maximum" width the way you have them on... and if that means switching the side of the axle, do it~! Also... make sure you lock it up good at your vacation place! I know in Northern NY, people prey on the vacationers!

I looked when I got home
the Valve stems are on the outside were they belong. I miss understood you before.
All I had to do was switch the right tire/rim with the left tire/rim and the V tread is going the right way.
Locked up it will be, but not to much to worry about there are poeple there most of the year anyways..

Start it up... I assume you know it has to be running (no batteries) Did you try on Hi and Lo beam? Does the tail light work? I'd check first check that they are plugged in behind each bulb. Each HL has a pig tail wires with 3 connections. If Hi and Lo are all "burned out" and tail light is not working, I would guess the lighting coil is toast. ( If the bulbs are all literally blown, then I'd be looking at a voltage regulator (thing back under the seat latch)

Wait one second! The best thing to do is sell it to me for 400.00 and take that money and go buy a machine that doesn't have any messed up backward tires on it. Is it a deal?? ------------------------------- just kidding, excellent find, welcome to the board.

you stole it. I woulda paid $300 for it just to look at it, and for spair parts of course. I bought a 350x off ebay a year ago for $900 that didnt look that that much better. That bike suffered from your same reverse tractor tread install. Even on the front. Those tires have since been replaced with stock front and 450r take off's on back. I don't think the way there mounted really matters as far as traction, tires are always spinning anyways.

As for why people do dumb things to atc's, i'm still wondering that myself. Seems these bikes were rather popular with people who liked to thread american bolts into metric threads, paint odd things gaudy non matching colors, and weld, cut and add or remove perfectly good factory pieces that are(or once were) there for a reason. Same guys are obviously way smarter than the fact engineers and have all sorts of tricks and tips for you whenever you stop at a gas station with an atc. Ebay has good examples of some of these bikes frequently. I perfer to keep mine stock appearing, with the exception of pipes and tires.
