honda 200, is it worh the thise price??? BIG RED

there is an ad in the paper that i called about today and talked to the guy about his 200 he says its in excellent shape, wheel are almost knew, frnt/rear racks, everything works good, electric start, low/high, and everything, the only thing that worryies me is that he said there is no suspention, i ride my 225dx, and i do a lot of bumpy riding , huntin fishing campin and such is what i am mostly wanting the trike for, they arent too bumpy are they? without the suspention i mean? cuz i want it for my wife,
and the main point of couse the price of it is $500OBO, i am thinking he will be ok with 450, so what do guys think?? is it going to be a HUGE diffrence on handeling and comfort of drivin dx and 200 ( i dont know what model for sure??)

i want to hear your opinon, thanks

P>S.. I was told that its aproximatly the same speed as my DX.. Is that true???

    THanks
225dx, My first atv and I am lovin it.

I have owned a 3 wheeler with no suspension, OUCH, they just kill my back to ride them very far. If its not going to be used much it might not be that bad, but I will never buy another one with no suspension, except to make a buck. Josh

I own 2 200BigReds: Not much of a problem for me anyway as long as you don't ride too fast- I don't have too much of a problem. $500 at least where i live is a really good deal. I paid $900 and $500 for mine (the $500 needed restoring. I'd check it out.

500 is a good deal. My 200x is fixed yet, and i always ride my friend's 200s that has no suspension, and i have no problem with it at all. Personally, i think that if youre only sitting, then you arent going fast enough! What i usually, do is either stand on the pegs or kinda squat. You'll get used to it fast. Dont worry about it.

I agree $500 isn't a bad deal if it's in real good shape. You might offer him $350 and then split the difference ( $425 ) or go to $450 , ect. I have done this in the past and have had it done to me. Normally it works to save a little. lol

    200 big red

I am sure that you found out since it had no suspension that it wasn't a big red, but here in Ca. if it is in good shape, $500.00 is still a reasonable price.

    Good luck.

I had a 84 200S before, you can ride fast but slow down when you come up to the bumps. Went to my sisters house(lives right down the road from me) and i use to take the S up there in the summer, boy that was a blast! Boy i miss it
