i like my uncles 200x alot. got that stock look, but its got the supertrapp and a 10.1 pistion. it moves pretty good. as soon as my stuff comes we will race. this is the trike i had to take to the badlands over this weekend b.c my seal was shot. the one comming off the cam, in the cdi. so it was shootin oil. o well.

Those are two GREAT looking 200X's!

Talk about bringing back some memories....
A 200X is what I WANTED back in '84 when I got my 200S but I didn't have the money to do it.

I still wouldn't mind having one.
The "350X's little brother".

They must have sold a zillion of those little monsters over the years.

Too bad they can't handle the 12:1 .. i see alot of guys trying to boost the compression up and keep having problems with reliability !...

I'd have one if the opertunity was to come up...

yea my 12:1 is causing me some troubles...but it will all be worth it when i get her runnin good.

i love that black plastics, do you have a metal gas tank or plastic? im thinking about getting a plastic one but i want black plastics..but they dont make a black plastic tank..

thast a metal tank. and they can handel the higher compression pistons. mine has one. i just wouldnt put it in there if i didnt oil cool it. mine should be reliable as a stock one. lol. my uncles is a lil tricky to get going. i dono if timing is off or jetting i dont know. i got them fenders for a steal. 100 for the back and 35 for the front.

they can't handle them because half the guys here run 12:1 with 87 octane and wonder why they run like crap.

exactly, they motors will handel the higher comp pistons ok just people here cant take care of stuff worth a turd, are too cheap to run the right gas, to cheap to run the right oil, repedily beat on it without service....haha other than that, they x's look nice! ditch the trail pros ..hah

where can * get an oil cooler kit? sounds like a good investment since my X is heavily modded

well i got mine off E-Gay for 30 shipped. you can do it your self. just drill 3 holes where you see mine are (on the right side case) and in the middle hole put in a "plug" then one hole is going to the oil cooler and the other hole is the oil comming back to the motor from the oil cooler. you just need to drill and tap some holes, and get the fittings. and any oil cooler will work really.

I'm gonna go ahead and do the oil cooler mod soon...I'm gonna have the motor in the shop anyways cause its time for a new clutch

Hey vartiak how hard was it to fit the 350x front end on your bike?

the front end is easy. all you have to do is cut off the old stearings stop form the 200x and then add a new one. i used like inch and a quater wide stainless steel stock. and found the center of the down tube n welded it there. you can still use the 200x front rim tire axel and hub.
