    Arrow Quadsport 230

Wow, never thought I would find myself ontop of this little machine. I was over at my buddies place and I remember him mentioning earlier that he had a 4wheeler, "some crappy old 80's 'zuki" is what he said, lol. So I said "lets go ride it" Well we took it out to go riding and the whole time i was thinking "WTF machine is this? if its not the 250, and it for sure isnt a zilla, then what other quad did suzuki make!?" Then while i was riding it, it hit me. So i looked at the engine, and sure enough "229cm3". I was VERY surprised. I was always very skeptical towards the 230 and always had the preconcieved notion that it was underpowered for some reason. This machine is great, its plenty fast for the trails and climbs hill with ease..... with me on it (im 230lbs). Does anyone know the HP of this machine? I would be very interested to find out. Thanks!

I got a 230 quadsport last month for $10 YES TEN DOLLARS!! The guy wanted $20 and me n my cuz went half on it cause he needed tires for his YTM 200. So far i got the frame painted Ripped off that stupid snorkel under the seat! And tuned a few things up. Now all i need is a crank, shaft piece, and two 8 inch tires and im ready to drive but it still needs the dashboard and some wiring.I can't wait to get this bike going since they are sooo light and im hoping it will ride better than the honda 200m i had

If you want to do some modifying mine has a dg pipe and a 250SX carb and throttle system on it and that helped it breathe alot.

i love the 230s ive had 2 my first one got stolen so i went and bought another one and personaly i preferr them to not have the full floater suspension on them i like the cheaper stock version the full floater doesnt have nearly as much rebound

have you guys put any high rise handle bars on your quadsports? Whenever I want to crank the handle bars the throttle hits my knee and away I go unless I slid back or streach my knee out farther. Even a 3" rise would work I think.

Also does anyone know what hubs will fit the quadsport? I want to try and find some 4X110 bolt pattern ones if possible.

Alright Nate,, I went out and bought a 250SX carb & thumb throttle to put on my kids 88 Quadsport 230 that I have sunk endless money into!! (LMAO)
Now I could use a little help with some answers to a few questions concerning the modifying and how you did yours? I'll check back to see if you've read my post joined today to contact you on this mod you performed on your Quad..
What year is that TriZ I had a 86 it was red & white I'm guessin yours is a 84 or 85?
If you could get back to me @ your earliest convenience it would be greatly appreciated :o)

I like the fact that the 230 Quadsport has a manual clutch. I have always wanted one.

We beat the piss out of a 230 and it went on for years, I never did like the way they sit though. I dont remember it having a manual clutch either. It went well and took a beating, but after a while it smoked and was a little anemic compared to the 350 Warroir we had. We upgraded to the 89 250 (a pretty rare quadsport) and that one kicked ass. It was manual for sure, but the 230 was not. They also make a 230 and 250 working version quad of them.
