    CRA Faircross Series - Ohio

First one is Monday at the Crawford Co. Fair in Bucyrus, Ohio, which is in Derrick's neighborhood.

As it looks now, we will be there to join Derrick so he's not triking it alone. TimJr will run Senior Mini Quad, and I will be running Senior Quad Class.

Cost is Fair entrance fee, usually &4-$10 + racing fee of $20 or $25. You also need a CRA sanction card, which is $15 per year. We already have ours.

ATV's need a tether kill switch. Rider's need Boots above the ankle, helmet, goggles or glasses, long sleeves and pants.

I will also be racing senior quad class. I was told that the fees were $15.00 for CRA membership and $10 to race + fair entry.

    Looking forward to it!

yeah max i am running the fair race. maybe they will let us have own class hmmm. i know my wheel spacers wont be in but they might who knows. i hope they are. Tim instead of running senoir quad run open quad with me and derreck you should do the same. That way all the trikes are in the same class, but if not that is cool i can race alone i did last sunday and finnished 10th with sprained ankle and huge chunk of skin missing from my foot. lets runn and do our best i cant wait. dont worry i have cmashaft coming to to take pics and stuff so bring cammeras. and lets RACE. I might run pit bike class to with the Mighty XR100R

Tim and I ran the first race in this series last night. Boy, the jumps were huge! The grandstand double had the bike riders at least 30' in the air. Needless to say, we rolled over that one.

It was great fun, even though we didn't stand a chance against the quads. We sure got alot of positive responses from the other riders for competing with them.

Can't wait for the next one!

If pictures show up, i'll post them. I didn't have a camera but there were plenty of people there taking pictures

A lot of good people in the CRA circuit. I realized that as I was talking with the score keeper after the races, and she was reminding me of the days when TimJr was a tiny little guy on his TriZinger.... He got 4th in his swamp race.

The next CRA Faircross Series race is at Summit Co. Fair in Tallmadge on Sunday, July 31st. They run a set of races in then morning, and then another set in the late afternoon. We usually run the 2nd set.

The best of the Faircross Series is August 3rd at Medina County Fair. They have a separate bike night on the 2nd, and on the 3rd is only quad racing, so the track is a lot more ATV friendy on that night.

Trikes are allowed at all CRA Faircrosss Series Races. Youll get stomped, but its a great chance to show off for a crowd that loves them. At Medina you can expect about 5000 spectators in the stands alone.

Hey guys...I just got a new calender thing setup. When you get the exact dates of the races figured out, go to the top of the page, click calender, go to add new event and then change the date and put the information in. Any event within 30's of its time will show up on the mainpage. I think this will be a cool way to get some more attention for up coming races/ scheduled events. Anyone is able to add them in there to the calender.

I got 6th out of 7. Brian got either 3rd or 4th, dont know for sure. He also ran the morning set of races, and I dont remeber how he said he did. TimJr snapped his axle in practice. Got one ordered, and overnighted. Ill be installing it at the track tomorrow when we do the Medina Co. Fair.

Medina Fair was awesome! TimJrs axle came, and I installed it at the track. He got 5th of 7. Sr Quad was split into two groups. Fryin' Brian took 2nd of 6 in his group. I got 4th of 4 in mine after a back and forth fight with a 440EX for thrid place.

Richland Co. Fair is the 10th, and Cuyahoga is the 1th, but we will be in Colorado next week, and wont be here.
