    honda 200es front shocks

I just put together the fromt end of my 200es and hooked up the front brakes. I went for a short ride to test the front brake and noticed that when I hit the front brake the front forks looked like they were jointed. They were flexing each time I hit the the brake. So now i gotta fix this. So what needs to be replaced? I looked at the clymer manual and they look pretty basic. Do I just need new guides and the spacers?

Chances are its just the guides. They wearout on the front side first.

    Guides (4), spacers (2), retaining clips (2) and lots of Bel-Ray grease....bout $50.00.

    honda 200es front shocks

I put a 200m front end on my Big Red and it works about 100% better. It didn't cost much either thanks to ebay.
