and those 2 things in your hand. one on the right is the main jet and the one on the left looks like # 18 on that diagram. you really don't have to change that. you pull out # 19 to get it out. push it down from the inside of the carb. it should fall out towards the bowl. but make sure it goes in the same way or it won't run right. thats where the needle goes in to.

When you take out the float theres a little pointy thing that attches to it. Check that and make shure that the ruber on that isnt messed up. also make shure its in there correctly, Your problem is defently centered around the float.

These are to diffrent kinds of floats I got. Dads posted something on here somewhere about two diffrent numbers on the carb for the 200cc. I have both which should I use? Both float?

Old 179 i didn't get a chance to do that yet my trike isn't at my house

Your having a heck of a time I see but you are learning.

I guess I should really come up (like I keep saying )

I'll check with the wife and see if Saturday is OK.

Maybe you'll have it fixed by then though ?

The orange plastic float is the same that i had on my 84 200 ES big red.

the black float with metal tab was on my 82 200 .

    ^^^ This is correct,.

Brass piece.. then spring. then metal flat washer and then ruber o-ring.. DO NOT Overtighten. or you will crush the o-ring.

The other brass round thing you had in your hand ( without threads ) .. you need to pop the one on the carb out and put this one in it's place.. no threads.. just find something metal and round that fits and give it a tap it will come out.

the new one goes in and will press in when you put things back together.
