You did just respond and he's probably right. You may know how to wrench but to openly put yourself on the top of the intelligence list was cocky and uncalled for. The ones that know the most will never brag about it like you just tried to.

Actually a good running 85-86 350x will outrun a new raptor. Raptor are pathetic and slow and not geared to run a 350x in the short haul. Now long haul is a different story. But short run no trouble for a good rider on a good running machine to outrun. And yes I have ridden BOTH on more than a few occasions. Power to weight ratio just eats that extra horsepower up. I have been riding 3-wheelers for more then almost 25 years and I have rode lots and lots of bikes. And I can tell you that these 2 bikes are very close in a race but a good pair of riders on both machines will prove that the 350x is just a little faster until it tops out.

I need to apologize for my previous post. I should have red it a little more carefully. I did not see that it said a 660 I was still Assuming (yes I know and I am sorry) That we were talking about a 350 raptor and a 350x. Against the 660cc raptor I do not think that the 350x would win. Next time I will read more carefully. All I can say is that I looked over it being a 660 .

So you think a 350 Raptor has more power than a 350X and will catch a 350X on top end? Isn't the 350 Raptor basically a Warrior motor? I don't think a Warrior is a match for a 350X at any speed.
