Thumbs up Nothing like OEM replacement plastic...

    Hey folks,
My new Honda OEM front fender and tank shrouds came in today.
    Amazing, simply amazing.
The fit, the finish, the crisp edges.
I've been waiting almost a year to do this.
All I have left is decals and Harlan is working on them right now.

Gotta say, if you're needing plastics and want 'em to look great, there's only one way to go....OEM.
Shop around for the best prices and save your pennies.
    You won't regret it.

I had Maier's before, that's what the R came with when I bought it.
    NO comparison.

Those are OEM Honda fork boots, too.
    Perfect fit and color.

    Just my 2 cents.

Awesome looking. Too bad they are so dang expensive! They look good with the tank, and I wish I could get some for my red big bore. I wish my tank looked that dang good!

I agree ---my 85 has all new maier and my 86 has all new OEM.

I'm thankful Maier makes plastics but the color, fit , and lines on the factory OEM is so much better. Even the front Maier fender looks like it goes more skybound (doesn't have the same curve as stock). Its amazing to see the difference when I have the two machines side by side. The shroud decals are still available from service honda. I bought Harlans rear fender decal and it was superb!!

    Thumbs up

    Thanks for all the compliments!

I bought mine from a local bike parts shop we frequent and he came within $15 of Service Honda so I gave him the business.
Gotta take care of the local folks.
They're invaluable when it comes to needing a part on short notice.
Heck, there's been times when they'd stay open a little later just so we could make it there to get what we needed to ride the following day.

    Service Honda prices:
    Shrouds are $36/ea..
    Front Fender is $89.

Yes, they look incredible, I didnt think that there were any stock fender's left for those machines anymore.. Looks like I need to do some investing before Honda throws them away as well.
