    Exclamation NEED HELP stuck in first gear!

    My cb550 has been sitting for 4 years. And has been started every year. But know it is stuck in first gear. I hear they are hard to get out of it until they warm up. Is this the problem?

    I have rode many dirt bikes, 4 wheelers and streetbikes, and can say if something ISNT wrong internally, it should shift through the gears at any time......I dont know why it wouldnt shift until it got warm.....is there a sensor that could be bad?
