I am now Trikes for life!!!

Well I am now a full trike convert. My brother owns a new kawi 300 quad 4x4 and goes to the river to hunt. on Saturday he calls and says that he has a huge problem, and needs me to come out with my Big Red and give him a ride back to town. he was about 10 miles from town on the river bed when I found him, but no sign of the quad. he was soaking wet, so I ask where the bike was. he shook his head and looked at the river 10 ft from him. he was cruising around, and the quad took to the river and the water was 15 ft deep. the quad floats but he paniced when it went under, and tried to step off. Flipped the quad over and she sunk like a rock. I swam under the water and we flipped her over and she slowly came back to the top with alot of perswasion and the 200es he was peeved and that little 200es drug that big water logged quad for 12 miles down the river bed, across the river and up the banks all the way back to his house. now I always wanted a 4x4 quad like his, but if my little 200 will drag that thing like that and I have more fun and spent way less money......

    LMAO!!

Good story....you should always check the depth and strength of the curent of any water crossing before you attempt it.

I am about 70 miles west of North platte. yea when I got there I was wishing that I had the video camera. he was not happy. we drained the fuel, oil, and removed the plug and all filters and replaced after sitting for a couple of days in the 100+ degree heat. we put some fresh oil in the cylinder, and rolled her over a few times without the plug and let her sit, while I went riding on tuesday, we put her back to one piece, new filters, oil, plug and gas (BTW the oil was almost 1 gallon overfull with water) and cranked for a few minutes and she fired up...runs a bit rough, but then again it is just a quad I went over yesterday, and ask if he wanted to go to ride at the river, and about got killed. if you cant even ride the river with a quad its time to get the Trike!
