    Tecate fender shipping

I went to order a new Maier front fender for my '84 Tecate, $54.00 plus $34.00 for shipping. The shipping is the same as what it was for the rear fenders when I ordered them. Am I just cheap or does the shipping for the front fender sound a little high? If anyone has a better direction for this fender, please let me know.

I work for UPS, shipping shouldnt be that much just for a front fender. They might have a flat shipping rate on all fenders. For sure it dosent cost them $34.00 to ship the front fender. Also depends of the company you go with. USPS is cheaper with small items where as UPS and Fed Ex are cheaper for larger items.

They called me back after I told them that seemed a tad high, and told me It would be $10-$12 dollars. Twenty-two dollars cheaper than they first quoted me. You are right they do have a flat fee for fenders. It's a good thing that I questioned it or I would have payed the extra, like who knows how many others have.
