The 500R has a motion pro "Turbo" twist throttle on it now and its still to much to turn for me. My old trx250R has a Magura on it (No clue on the model) and its like a 1/4 turn. Waterpumpers 250R at trikefest was the same way also. I'm inclined to just rob the one off the 250R temporarily, but I'd like to have one to replace it. Suggestions?

You can get 1/4 turn ones from dennis kirk. I don't know how they feel since I have never had one but now you know where to get one.

Do you remember the model it was? Theres like 8 different ones in there and none of them tell you which one has the quicker pull heh.

Not to sound ignorant on this, but the twist we had, was actually a 3/4 turn and a 1/4 turn. There were two ramps on the throttle. You just unhooked one and flipped it 180 degrees and hooked it back up. (At least thats the way I understood it) Maybe yours is the same!

magura 314 is adjustable twist throttle. if i remember correctly it is 62 degrees or 85 degrees. enduro or mx

Hey Derrick, my original twist throttle housing had a crack in it, and when you tightened it down it kind of jammed the cable and would make it hold posistion wherever you let go of it at!Sort of like how some of the harley throttles are setup with when you release them they stay open. At Trikefest I had a motion pro one on there I changed over, It only had one cable hook up though and was just to much of a turn in IMO.
Phil, I'll definetly checkout that Magura model 314. I prefer their stuff over motoin pro anyways. Thanks.
