    IRS sport quad?

Polaris is going to have IRS sport quad. The outlaw. And some other new additions to their line up.

Are you kidding me????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!????????????!!!!!!!!!!. I give them a thumbs up for inovation, and maybe it will revolutionize the sport world - but that thing is hideous from the seat back and I'll bet it weighs a ton.

Some neat ... and not so neat models added too. The Sawtooth is just the Tiawanese Pheonix in a Utility skin (allthough I think it looks cool from the side), I'm really skeptical of the Hawkeye too - might be another ching chang quad. On the good side - they finally came out with a 2 up seater, The 450 will probably find a niche, The 500EFI is a fantastic idea (they are going to sell a TON of these is the price is right), They must have sold enough of that MV Tank to keep it in production, and I see that much debated "50" horsepower engine rating for the Predator is probably correct - for the most part. You can see the power to weight ratio is listed as .12 - the machine weighs 415lbs = 49.8 HP. The only thing I'm disappointed in is that the rumoured "new" Scrambler didn't come out this year - at least yet and that they didn't come out with a big bore sport quad.

Polaris has some pretty cool lookin four wheelers out nowadays, but i dont think i would ever own one after working at a cycle shop for 2+ years....thats about all i ever see in there....and did i mention most are a B!tch to work on? take the 425 magnum for example....you have to take the seat and gast tank and plastic off to change the plug! and the plug is 16mm!
    Currently Trikeless!!!

I give them credit for doing it but I hate the way it looks. I don't know if that would handle good in the corners.

You can say that again. Have you seen the exhaust on it!?

    Exactly.............
Some people are going to get those Outlaws and think they are the best quad out there. Polaris needs to get some former honda engineers.

I'm thinking IRS on a sport machine would blow. You'd have to run a sway bar if you plan on hitting some corners hard and fast.

I for one, cant wait to throw a leg over one. Although I wont be able to afford one when they come out, Id love to have one. I personally think they would be the perfect dune machine for around this area. Polaris and Yamaha are walking away from the competition.

They have a factory sway bar.

Our local dealer called a riding buddy of mine from the testing grounds Monday and told him all about it. He said they are unreal to ride. Every jump they land smooth even if your quad comes down sideways. Doughnuts and power slides are easy as a normal predator. Best thing is it rides nearly as smooth as a sportsman. My buddy will have one come November when they come out so I'll get to ride it soon. He looks like he is a Polaris employee when he has all his machines loaded up.

a guy on exriders said he spent the wekend on one at the proving grounds and said it cornered better than a pred, and was unbelievibly smooth, he said the irs soaked up every bump that he hit

RIDE IT LIKE YOU STOLE IT! AND NEVER LOOK BACK, THEY ARE TOO FAR BEHIND TO SEE!!

Id rather have a sister in a WHORE HOUSE than a brother in a FORD!

It hard to powerslide with some of our IRS quads. I cant wait till they race it to see how it does.

I think its cool and all, but add too much power and there is no way to lengthen the rear end like we can do with the swing arms, as far as sliding, I ridden a sportsman 500 with the I.R.S. set up and it slid fine and it was a 4x4 so I dont think kickin the rear loose will be a hard task.
