i think it nitrogen that is used on rear shocks
you most likely need to take it to a dealer/bike shop

99.9% of the time someone says a shock needs recharging it needs rebuilding. When you loose your oil it will feel like it's all spring.

You said shocks, as in plural. Are you talking about the shock in the rear or the forks in front?

Rear shock is nitrogen charged. Front forks 0 lbs air. Last couple weeks there has been threads on these topics. Trikesville @ Open forums. Read up. Lots of questions will be answered by that. We will be glad to help once you get familiar.
