i think they put out around 120 hp. they were very fast tripples. i had a 97 xcr 600 and i believe it had like 115 hp

Should be good for 140-145. In 1999 polaris dumped the storm motor for a new 800 triple with VES (XCR 800) and was good for 155-160hp.

thanks guys...i just found it on a dyno website...147 hp for the 1997 storm all stock...www.m-performance.com has all kinds of sleds on it....
