    installed the 250sx block heater yesterday --

    -- this seems to be the best angle --

    no problems -- it's nice tacking OEM stuff to my bike --

    the seat is at extreme-cycle getting re-covered --

    -- basically, it plugs in with the supplied plug/wire, then heats up the metal element, which lies on the belliy of the case --

    -- it gets quite hot!

    are you sure that's how it installs ?

    I beleive the upper part needs to make contact with the cylinder fins somehow....

    PS : I got one too.. not installed yet but the instructions has something different pictured.
    Currently :

    82 ATC - 200, plain jane, almost mint. ( Sold, 03-17-2005)
    84 ATC - 200 ES, Jimmy-Rigged, don't ask.( Sold, 03-17-2005)
    85 ATC - 250 SX, Pride and Joy, Bottom-Less Money Pit.
    84 125 M - The Mini-SX not running yet. but won't be long.

    That gets a "2 thumbs up"! Gets pretty cold up there. I built a thermostat for the R, works dandy.

    it's installed correctly -- i followed the little schematic instructions from honda -- it was failproof -- that is, till this thing blows up my fuel tank --
