its a 83 Kawasaki KLT, its a 250.. has electric start, it came with a speedometer but it isnt on it right now.. also had racks i have them in my garage, its a 5 speed.. manual clutch, i guess thats about all the basics. the gas tanks in the rear of them, you pour it through the rear fender. and it does about 65mph.
    are these pretty rare???

I posted a Black one this morning "Wet Trikes" I have 3; 1- 83; 2- 85's. It'll do 47mi/hr tops on 25/12/9s neat part of yours is the 200 seat and head light I've never been able to bolt my 200 seat to my 250 nice bike though, do you have 8-22's or 9-25s on the back? I like the lower profile on yours.

hey darrel.. i have the 25 9's on back, 22 8 on front, its a 200 seat??? i dont know it came like this.. and was stock as a rock, and the seat bolts on perfect?

the headlight is one i put on myself, from a auto parts store..because the guy before me had crashed it and broke the light. it has a stock rear light too.

how come yours can only do 47 mph when i can do 65??

Your looking for a Tecate 3 if you want sporty (don't kill yourself, if you get one, they tend to leave people a little behind, NOTHING factory direct ran like a 300 big bore 'cate').
That yours is faster than mine is probably a sprocket change by someone years ago, mine are totaly stock exept the 82 which was converted to a 79 KL dirt bike ignition, points, CDI and coil cause I could, and I couldn't find the ignition I needed when the CDI fried the coil, exiter and wiring. I want mine absolutly factory stock.

    Klt

I would Keep That Kawasaki KLT as close to Original as I could. Yours looks alot nicer than most I have seen. If you want a Sport Trike and like Tecates the 84-85 is a little harder to Find Parts for. I have Every Possible Aftermarket Part on mine but the Stator. Its not a very long list but it helps.

Honda 250 R's are probably the Easiest to find Parts for and probably alot of Aftermarket Goodies are made for them.

How much did you pay for your KLT?
