    Rebuilt my 110

Hi, I just rebuilt my 1979 honda 110. I bored it 0.75 over. It wont idle for more than a few seconds, and Its hard to start, (you have to push start it) any advice?

    Thanks, Wes

It wont start because its BORED

    J/K

Start with the basics, compression, fuel, ignition.

If the cylinder wasn't honed, slap whoever didnt hone it , then take it apart and hone it. Otherwise it'll pump oil into the cylinder and foul the spark plug.

Check the compression, should be well over 100 psi (120 - 170?)

Find the choke on the carb, whatever it is.

**New spark plug.** Timing light on the spark plug wire.

Start it and quickly vary the choke setting and see what happens. If its starving for fuel, pulling the choke out will make it run.

When it dies, watch the timing light. If it stops blinking as soon as it dies, go looking for loose terminals in the ignition system, one loose connector pin that was disturbed when the engine was removed will do this.

If it continues to blink as the engine rolls to a stop, look for fuel problems.

ever heard of KISS?, sounds like your carb needs a cleaning and re-set. morethanlikely dirt and girt in it from over the years clogging up the piolet jet. and a new plug would be a must.
