    Wink Yamaha did it again

They have made an even bigger bore sport quad ... the Raptor 700R. And its even fuel injected. http://www.yamaha-motor.com/sport/pr...9/0/specs.aspx

I just told my 250r about that. He said it will proubly taste like chicken as well.......
Personally I don't trust Fuel injection. I wouldn't want to be riding in the middle of no-where and have so water or some S*** screw up my electronics!!!!!

I suppose if you want an interesting looking Yami that is not overwhelmingly powerful then it would be a nice purchase, but I'll stick with a YFZ thank you very much.

Say what you will, but that sucker is bad-ass! I dig it.
At least they did not "jump the shark" and put IRS on it, like Polaris.

Yamaha makes my favorite quads and I dont think that the Fuel injection is going to be an issue. A buddy of mine had a Polaris 700EFI and swamped that hell out of that thing (blew up 2 engines) but the EFI never has failed. I like auto quads for the most part, but if you have a quad of equal size in a standard, its going to have more power, they always seem too. The Wolverine was my Favorite 4by in the Yamaha Lineup too

I agree, the YFZ is still the better quad.

I think it looks to be a good quad too. Might not be set up for racing like some might want it to be. But should make a great trail quad. They also shaved two pounds over the old raptor. I like it.

I clicked on the banshee and it said the end of an era. Is this the last year of the Banshee?

EDIT Found the Answer on chainsaws thread. End of the banshee

Are all two strokes being phased out this year ??

Other smaller or lesser known companies, such as Tiger ATV, Franks, and Cagiva, produced racing three wheelers, but in much smaller numbers. Few of these machines are known to exist today and are highly sought by collectors.
