    Should I trade my......

I just talked to a guy who wants to trade me 2 near complete 200x's and another 200x rolling frame for my freshly rebuilt quadrunner 250. My frind Jamie says I shouldn't do it and says "any moron kows a quad is worth more than any 3 wheeler". I want to do it but want to know what anyone else thinks. One of the 200x's runs but needs a clutch and the other need a topend rebuild. The rolling frame has everything but the motor(it had a 200s motor in it). What should I do?

What do you want to do? Do you want a 3 wheeler? Would you rather have your Quadrunner? Do you have the money to fix up the 3 wheelers?

Friggin right. I'm a trike addict and am in need of a fix. I've always wanted to have a 200x and do have the money to fix. How hard is it to replace a clutch in a 200x? I've done tons of work on 200es's and 200s's but never a 200x. I just rode over the mountain to where this guy lives and he wanted me to do it tonight. My friend is mad at me cause I want to do it. He wanted to buy it but doesn't have the money. I'm gonna do it tomorrow. I need help on repairs though. It wanted to fire up but the clutch is burned up.

Believe me when I say it can get quite expensive restoring these old trikes. I've been slowly redoing my 200x over the past year or so. Parts for these bikes are pretty plentiful though. (used) What kind of shape is the golfcart in? If you think about it with some work and money you can have an auto X and two other 200X's in no time. For me that would be a no brainer...GO FOR IT!!!

I'd go for it since you love trikes. And while you're fixing them up, take one of them and TOTALLY restore it. Believe me. You won't be satisfied unless you make one of them look great and go all-out on it. You are guaranteed to do it at some time. If you don't do it now, you'll do it later. Might as well be now.
Fixing trikes is like an addiction.. it never stops.

Here's the golfcart. I hate it so much but it only cost me 130.00 for it and 120.00 for the parts motor on ebay. I only replaced the topend on it so far. The 200x that needs a clutch would need new fenders and a good cleaning that all. It has a cobra pipe rebuilt front forks and rear shock. It would be an easy restore. The fenders are on it but really sunfaded pink. The other 200x needs all of the plastics a new rear axle (bearings wore into the axle) and some cleaning up. The frame is beautiful without a scratch in it. Then there's the rolling chasis that needs plastics and a motor. Oh yeah and it includes all of the other 200x parts he has stored away and he has a ton. I could sell what I don't need on ebay for restoration money. I'm doing it for sure.

I'm addicted really bad. I hate quads and wish the still make trikes. Everyone tells me I'm stupid or nuts but I can't help it. 3 wheels are better than 4. Thats what I tell everyone.

I just got of the phone with him and he's gonna bring them down on his trailer in the morning. I'm a proud owner of 2 200x's now.

I think I got a steal It is easy to repair them mechanically. I just need fenders and I'll have 2 200x's that run good. I'm going to put my 200s motor in the other rolling frame. Then I'd have three new trikes.

How do you replace the clutch? Is it different than the 200s or about the same.

I will a little later on. My digital cam needs to be recharged. Yes those quadrunners are very ugly. I beat the hell out of it to for one last time. I hate quads with a passion. TRIKES AND BIKES only for me.
