    200x mods

What other mods are there for the 200x other than the basics(piped, jetted)? Any help would be great.

Different gears (bigger front, smaller rear), camshaft, high comp piston, I'm sure there are others . My AutoX in my sig has several of these mods and runs really good .

Speed is just a question of money. I think this topic has been beaten to death before though. Just do a search you'll find what your looking for. I think the consensus is though that anything beyond a pipe, cam and larger carb is a waste. Go to the magazine articles section on the main site and take a look at the DG hopup kit for the 200x engine and you'll find what I mean. I would stick with those and call it done if you serious about modding it.

Otherwise, buy a 350x for that 4-stroke grunt and a cushy ride for your butt. lol

I think I'm gonna stick with the basics on both of my 200x's. I'm waiting for the guy to come down with his trailer right now to drop them off. The best one out of the bunch has been piped and jetted and has a k&n filter. It just has a burned up clutch and I will replace that today the just replace the plastics. After that I'm gonna leave it alone. I've read that thread and believe it's best to leave it reliable than "possibly" unreliable. Thanks for the help guys. I'll post some pics of them when I'm done with the restoration.
