Where to buy carb jets for 200x

Ok my 200x is an 84 with an 83 engine, the carb is a pd 62 A (I think its the A cause there is a square around the A and not the other letters). My question is where can I buy jets for it? I think I need a pilot jet, is this the same as a slow jet? I think that because my idle is too high and the air screw won't help bring it down. Smaller numbers I'm told are leaner correct? Higher are richer? Thanks.

Also can anyone actually tell me if I need to go richer or leaner based on this: when I turn the air screw in all the way so it is seated it will start and run with high idle that will settle in a few seconds, as I turn the air screw out further and further it becomes harder to start and idles high for a very long long time until it calms down. Rich or lean? Thanks.

Make sure your clip is in the middle slot of the needle. thats a good starting point. Halfway between lean (top notch) and rich (bottom notch). You gotta look to see what numbers are stamped on the jets. I just found that out a couple days ago lol.

OK lets see... according to the chart 1983 main jet # is 110. 84' on is 108 (I don't know why).

Initial pilot screw opening... 1983 is 1 3/4 turns out. 84 on is 2 1/4.

    float level 14 mm
I guess this is just a starting point. depending on what mods you have it may vary I'm still trying to figure this **** out. Haven't you seen any of my threads...

Edit: I forgot to mention that jets can be bought at most dealers and shops. The cheapest I've seen was in dennis kirk catalog a 5 pack for $20.

Hahaha I've seen your threads. Anyway I want to know where the heck I can actually buy jets for this thing, specifically pilot (slow) jets.

You will need size 108 and higher. they come in increments of 2.5 I think. Or you mean the 35, 40 sizes. I'm not sure which is which lol (rocket science )

Pilot jets are to be had at the dealers as well. 200x range starts at 35. They are also available in the rebuild kits you find on ebay. They are usually 35 as well. I dont think I have had other sizes in those rebuild kits. I just buy what I need at dealers. For $2-$3 a peice I dont mess with ordering em online.

Edit: After reading your other thread, Go into the worthless dealer and tell them this, "I need a keihn pilot jet #35 and #38" or what ever sizes you want. They are in increments of 2 to 3.
