It is for insurance reasons. I know the owner of L-cross (Mark Pearce). Felda motorsports park, before it closed down, was the same. They can do nothing about it. They gotta be insured to be operational.

I still think it is LAME AS HELL, though. They do Not require helmets or any safety gear at all. Go figure. Look at the sign behind the kid 2 wheeling that quad. It says "5 mph" ...what a bunch of crap

I know of a few legal places around here, they are insured and they allow three wheelers. I suggest those people shop around for another insurance carrier. What a total crock of ****!

Yeah, but that's in PA. The words "Insurance" and "Florida" are usually hard to come by, especially in the same sentence.

I bet Mike already hit it on the head, it's probably insurance reasons. Before eveyone starts tossing hate mail thier way you have to consider that the reason. I mean they let everything else in.

That happened to us the last year of AMA sanctioned Open ATV racing, just starting to get good at it and AMA pulled the classes. The race track owners couldnt do much about it and we understood it wasnt their fault, it dropped the gate fees. Everybody lost except the AMA. Funny how it usually works that way...
