    200x clutch problem

    when i ride my 83 200x i pull in the clutch fine but other time it will not want to pull in. what could that problem be?

    hmmm...

    Did you try adjusting the cable on the lever and on the motor?

    Hey chris.. how the heck can your X look so good.. but run so bad !! ???? lol...

    Yamahaman.. check the cable itself.. does it look damaged in any place ? does it bind... etc..
    Currently :

    82 ATC - 200, plain jane, almost mint. ( Sold, 03-17-2005)
    84 ATC - 200 ES, Jimmy-Rigged, don't ask.( Sold, 03-17-2005)
    85 ATC - 250 SX, Pride and Joy, Bottom-Less Money Pit.
    84 125 M - The Mini-SX not running yet. but won't be long.

    See... that's why it looks so good.... I haven't had it out riding yet to beat on her a little.

    yea, sometimes the cable gets melted from the header...

    the clutch will goin fine sometimes but there are times where it will only pull in bout 1 inch and then be really hard to pull and if i get it all the way in the clutch isnt disingaged yet(bad spelling)
