Ok, My idle is great when it gets down. I adjusted the valves (noticed significant power gain, first time adjusting them) and I overhauled the carb, completely overhauled. Everything seems ok, absolutely no air leaks at all guaranteed. Don't even tell me this is because of an air leak because it isn't. Ok, here is what happens...I mentioned it idles well when the idle goes down but it only goes down if I stop and put it in first and then slowly let the clutch out just to the point where I feel it slightly catch. Then I'll pull the clutch back in and it'll be idling fine, so good infact that I can leave the trike for 10 min. and the idle will be solid. But that isn't until I do the little clutch trick I explained. Between shifts when simply riding around the idle will go really high making it hard to shift out of gear even with the clutch pulled in. It isn't until I stop...get into any gear...and start letting the clutch lever out a little bit until I feel it grab and pull it back in. The moment it begins to grab the idle will settle. Any help would be great...I've tried to be super descriptive here. I'm thinking the clutch is worn and isn't fully grabbing between shifts or until I stop and do that trick I explained. Anyone? Thanks for the help.
