    Bombardier DS90 slowing down

    My little brother has a Bombardier DS 90 and it has a power limiter on it that is set to wide open. I goes pretty fast, but yesterday It barely runs at all. Got It brand new on 8/8/05.

    Id suggest calling your dealer and getting it taken care of under warranty instead of working on it yourself and possibly voiding it.

    Your brother should never have gotten it in the first place, the DS90 is a peice.

    I didnt even know Bombardywhatevier made a 90cc machine. Is it 2 stroke or 4? Most of those lil 90's are 2 strokes.
    Tim sr is right.If its still under warranty ,let the shop take care of it.
    Not 100% sure what you mean by "barely runs at all". That could be major, or it could be something simple like a spark plug or your spark arrestor screen could be carboned up.Those lil machines are known to run rich.I've worked on a few of them and the owner says one day it was fine and the next time it ran like crap.I usually clean/replace the spark plug and clean the exaust screen and it runs like new again.This happens b/c the kids that ride them put around and stop and go and the 2stroke oil just keeps pumping in and doesnt get burned up. Parents just dont understand when I tell them that thier kid needs to ride it faster.
    If you work on it yourself, keep us posted. I'd like to know whats wrong with it.
