    Project atc440x

Project atc440x is my trike that I'm building. I've made a little web page on the random thoughts and madness behind the project. There's not a terrible amount of info but it gives you a good idea of what I'm doing. I know some like to save some tricks and tips for themselves but by all means, please feel free to ask any question you'd like related to the project. I'll do the best I can to answer them. I'll also use this thread to notify when I've made an update on the site. Hope you enjoy!

Man I am amazed at the work you have done. I would have really liked to see it in a R frame. When i watched the video the bike looked a little chopperish. I think it is just because it doesn't have front plastic. Great work. Can we see some pics from the side and more video? Nice work. You should make a kit to convert 400exs into atc's. You should really get some inverted forks. It would look like a 2005 trike.

Have you ever thought of converting that to EFI? I'm going to try that with my machine and if I can make it work for mine, maybe we can also make it work for yours if you want to try it. Just a thought.

Killer idea fyi! I hope you keep us updated on that one. I'm gonna do a 450r carb swap on this project. I've seen some numbers on the swap and the results are amazing. There's a real good write-up on trx450r.org about it if you're interested.

That's a good idea too oldschool... What size is the 450r carb anyway? I assume it has an accel pump and a TPS sensor?

Nevermind... I found that the size of the 450r carb is 42mm Keihin. (sp?)

BTW- Do you have a link to that build-up thread you spoke of? Thank you.
