When we do any restoration for Honda it is a contract deal meaning we set up a total price to have the machine restored including all our labor and parts, thats what makes it tricky i try not to give any rock bottom price till i locate all the hard to find stuff , you cant rush it or you can screw yourself , its a big deal it has to go through a budget meeting etc before it gets approved, all our contracts are legal binding when you work for a big company like honda thats how it has to be . When i do restorations for the general public I can typically set a total price with a stipulation that if I run into more problems the price may go up , just like any major overhaul job till you dig in to it you have no idea what you up against
