200x wont shift from 1st, plz help
Its the 85'. I recently purchased a bottom end from a seller on ebay, the top end was froze. I rebuilt the top end and then got it running, and rode it for a little while, shifted through all gears fine. Then something happened to the transmission, and now it wont shift out of first. You cant even get it into neutral. I pulled the right side case and cant seem to figure out what the problem is. I was going to swap the shifter shaft setup with another complete one that I have from a different tranny, but I cant get that stupid bolt off the clutch. The bolt I am talking about is the one with four etches which you cannot possibly turn with a regular wrench. Has anyone on the board ever got that stupid thing off? How do you do it? If anyone has any clue as to why i cant shift out of first gear, please let me know. Thank you for your time and consideration.
