I am with BigGreenMachine on this one, I don't find parts that hard to come by. But if you want aftermarket stuff from back in the day you will most always have to pay for them. If you take care of it and just do the two biggest things for it which would be clean the air filter and change the gear oil they last for a while. At trike fest I had my 84 there and it was 100% OEM when I got it but the rear tires were really junk so I put new tires and alum. wheels on it. The plastic was all there but the kid I got it from spray painted it red, everything but the gas tank. But it only cost me 45 bucks to get it running correctly. I'd post some pics of it but I don't know how. If I had to do it all over again I would have sold all my hondas except the 70 and bought two tecates. I love it to death. I am always looking for another complete tecate to get but the only ones I really want are the 84/5's because personally I think that they look the best and that lime green plastic oh baby! Kasuki, did you end up trading your tecate and banshee for whatever you were trading it for? And did you let him take that certain part I wanted to buy from you?

I rate it behind the 85/86 Tri-Z, 86/87 Tecate and the 85/86 250R but if you can find none of the above, go for it.

I just thought I would post a picture of an 85 that had plenty of aftermarket items on it. I am unsure of what type of swingarm it is the hubs, or the axle.

well it won't upload cause the files are too large and I don't know how to make them any smaller

What is that on the front on the top of the forks in the tripple clamp area. Is that the radiator? Weird to be mounted on the forks if it is it. Those are bad ass trikes though. There is a nice one on ebay now for 1400 I thinks its a 86 though pretty good shape too. I wish I had some cash for it.

Yup, that's the radiator. My buddy got an 84 for free because the guy couldn't get it to start, no matter what he did. He must have lived under a rock because it had the most common problem: the stator was bad. We had a local guy rewind it, put it in, and she fired right up. It did vibrate, and it didn't like to turn without throttle, but it would try to throw you off when you pinned it! WAY too much power for the chassis.

Here they are. This your T3? Neat hubs and axle. Swingarm is a stock extended version.

Go for it, wide axle alone would be worth about 300 on egay if you get hit by the right bidder. Those hubs are wierd, never seen a set like them before. The swingarm looks a little hobjobbed and the front tire is square lol but other then that she dont look that bad. lol
