    Trike loading ramps?

Been looking for a good loading ramp solution for a trike. This is the best one I've found so far. Anybody use one or know of a similar one for less money? Or any good aluminum fabricaters want to make a few bucks building me something similar?

Hard to believe they can ship it to me via fedex ground for 15 bucks but that's what they quoted me.

Do the bi-fold loading ramp from Northern Tool and Equipment. They have a website (northerntool.com) part number 330323-1601, and sorry I do not have a link. Like less than 100 bucks shipped. Check that out. They also have a tri-fold ramp for a bit more. good luck

Did I mention that Northern Tool's ramps can be had for like 100 bucks? That's what I got, and they are great. All aluminum, etc. Can't beat it.

    Dude!

    Excellent tip my friend!

That's the exact same ramp I posted about by the way. Just 50 bucks cheaper.

I've got the wide tri-fold set from Rocky Mountain. (Or maybe it was Dennis kirk? Can't remember ) they are even wide enough for the DS650 to go in the back of my truck without it hanging off on each side. Its the fulle width of the tailgate. Very good ramps and their built well. A little bit on the pricey side (Around a $150 if I remember right) but its something I just couldn't live without after buying them.

Is this the one? That's a bad picture. Do you have a better shot of it?

I got a set of the Fulton Tri fold ones rated for 1250 lbs. Got them @ Cdn Tire for $149.99. Good & tough & fold up nicely. Beats the hell out of the old piece of rickety plywood.
Like HondaATC said in his post, don't know I got along w/o them.
    A whole bunch of trikes.

Also check out harbor freight. We have a store here in Baltimore, MD and I picked up a trifold aluminum ramp for $80 on sale. Can't beat it, and it is the full width of a full size pickup tailgate.

This migh qualify for the "redneck" post

I tore my old waterbed apart and use the side rails for the rear tires and the footboard for the front cause it's shorter. Works great.

I went to Harbor Freight today and picked up that tri-fold for $79.

Now I just have to figure out where to put the ramp once the trike is in there...

    Thanks for the tip Vealmonkey!

Note: print out the web site ad and bring it in to the store. They gave me a little bit of a hard time about it since the in-store price is $109. Quick conversation with the manager and everything was fine so it's all good.
