    tri z heads

    Was going through boxes of parts I got when brought last tri z and came across 2 different types of heads one has 24Y marked on top and the other has 38W can anybody shed some light on this.

    The 38w is for the tri-z. Not sure on the 24y one.

    24Y is the product code for the YZ250. I dont remember what exact years it covers though. Its either 83, or 85.

    Thats what l thought too.. The bike has a 24Y on it now it goes like a cut cat.!!!

    Howd you put it on the Z? The YZ250 head has the one waterhose spigot in a weird place, if I remember right it like puts it right into the right hand side radiator. Did you weld on an angled piece or somethin?
