rigged a light on atc 70...

actually dont look bad,its a smaller rectangle utility light, not very bright though, but is alot better than nothing.i tapped into the dark green wire which evidently is used for lighting on newer atc 70s.mine is an 82.put a switch beside the air cleaner[drilled a 1/2 hole in the double wall frame part]..i might try a different light to get a little more output, but i know this thing doesnt put out alot of current for lights...i'll get a pic soon

Could you possibly run a battery on it? Hook the battery to the stator to charge it so it doesn't go dead fast, and hook the battery to the headlight and use it just for the lighting. Just figured I would give you an idea. I don't know how hard it would be to do though..

i thought of that...it havta be a pretty small battery,i think it would work.the light is kinda bright when its dark, but its not really a concentrated beam,it kinda puts out like a wide field of light, making it not seem very bright.i might try like a 10$pepboy light..

Well it wouldn't need to be TOO small. Just put a regulator and such on it. I'm sure the electricians will step in in a little bit to help you.. lol
