I had a similar trouble with my 200S recently after One-Pull-Starting for the past 15+ months. I ended up taking the tank off and cleaning it when I found out that the fuel pretty much stopped flowing after just a small amount ran through the line. I cleaned the inlets, etc. and really sloshed some fuel to suspend the crud and dumped it into a drain pan (for later use in my beater truck since gas is more costly than silver these days). Did that 3-4 times, reassembled it all, and it has started first pull ever since. Went on a ride today with my Sweetie after getting her "new" 79 110 running and my 200 ran flawlessly as usual. A tank sealing will be in my future I think but, for now, I'll keep it topped off so there won't be any chance of rust or condensation.
Hope this info helps a little.

yea dude its the jets, there are two jets one small and one big, i always though the small one was for the idel and the big one when * give it gas. So the big one is probably cloged cause when * give it gas the big one is clogged and the engine gets no gas to it starts to die , then when * let the gas go it idels ok. This happend on my 225 dx, so i jusst ended up cleaning everything with 3 bottels of carb cleaner, and new hoses, and it worked fine afetr that. ( im not sure about the jets tho) Good guess i would say. lmao/........
