    rebuild question

    Ive got my YTM all together just about, except for the cam chain tensioner. It is out of the motor right now. What do I do to ajust it? Clymer doesn't explain it well enough.

    BTW, it's not an auto chain tensioner.

    Screw the adjuster in until the push rod (inside the adjuster) is flush with the end of the adjuster, tighten the lock nut (22 ft-lb). Start it up, let it idle & make sure there is a slight bit of movement of the push rod.
    If there is no movement, it is set too tight.
    A whole bunch of trikes.
