200x "Kerker" exhaust, anyone know of these??

I'm looking into buying an aftermarket exhaust for my '84 200x and I recently ran by a "Kerker" exhaust. Does anyone know about these? Any good? Thanks.

They were popular back in the day. Maybe a little bit better than the DG's of that era.

I used to have a Kerker Exhaust system on my 1986 Yamaha V-Max a few years ago and the sound, fitment and quality was excellent! I *think* Kerker was purchased by Supertrapp Exhaust a while ago or at least they merged somehow...

They make some nice exhaust systems and if they had what I wanted in chrome, I wouldn't hesitate to buy from them. I'm getting the chrome DG full exhaust system w/ headers, etc, etc. for my 350X this winter.

Just my .$02 if you're interested.

I have a Kerker on my Big Red and it is awesome. It's a little loud, but well worth it.

I've seen and heard them on a 350X. Too loud for my taste.

You had better like pissed off neighbors and closed riding areas, too. I will never understand why people think that loud exhaust is cool or makes more power. It's attitudes like this that are closing many riding areas across the nation. My advice, find a kit that makes power, but not at the expense of people's nerves. If you can find a Supertrapp, get it, and run five or six discs. Plenty of power without the annoying noise.

Here's a used Supertrapp that is less than 100 miles from you:

i like loud exhaust. its not the loud exhaust its most of the people that have it is what the problem is. people that go out at 1 am on a weekday night half-lit, and do donuts at the end of the road or something. those are the ones. my exhaust is pretty damn loud, but i dont crank up and down my road wide open is 6th gear.

There aren't any riding areas around here. My neighbors don't give a damn...and if they did I'd like to piss them off. I'm not getting it for more power but rather because my exhaust pipe is cracked and it'll be cheaper to get this (this particular one from a particular person) then a new stock one or even a used stock one. Supertrapp's are too costly, so are DG, so is everything but this one great deal I've come across.
