    THANKS alot guys i think im going with the bondo idea then painting it thanks alot guys.. I will try to get some pics of my bike on here soon thanks! Joe

    ga=guage or the thickness of the metal. Aluminum is pretty easy to work with and it looks pretty even if you paint it. You CAN use a , can't you? If you still have the old one you can always use it for measurements and to compare the final product.
