I was under the impression that the SX and ES used the same swingarms on the same years ?
I know the 85 and 86 years were different.. but is this an 86 setup ?

Currently :
82 ATC - 200, plain jane, almost mint. ( Sold, 03-17-2005)
84 ATC - 200 ES, Jimmy-Rigged, don't ask.( Sold, 03-17-2005)
85 ATC - 250 SX, Pride and Joy, Bottom-Less Money Pit.
84 125 M - The Mini-SXnot running yet. but won't be long.

This is an 85 set up. The 86's had a removable right side section just like the 300 4-wheelers of the late 80's, this is one solid piece.

yeah but look at the middle braces... the diamond thing is not shapped like the 3 swingarms i have now !!!!! mine being an 85 SX.

this is what it should look like.
there is no way to mount that thing to the frame with the tube in the way...

The sx and es swingers are diffrent.
The ES one is more solid I beleive.
That first swingarm is definately a 1985 250es swingarm.
