    throttle/cable question/jet fuel

    i need a new throttle cable and i need to find a thumb throttle, i dont care much for the twist throttle, anyone know where i can find a thumb throttle and a cable for a 1985 200x??? is it better to run jet fuel through a 12:1 motor or just the 89 octane??

    i dont think you can run 89 with a 12:1, ive heard of 91 but theres pinging.

    108 or better octane on a 12:1.

    How bought a Moose racing thumb throttle,and a pro motion throttle cable?

    nah man i aint spending 125 on a throttle way to expensive, i think if i steal a thumb throttle of one of my friends old machines it might work.

    any more help id like to finish this project right. all i can find is aftermarket twist throttles.

    jet fuel is a form of diesel- avgas you need to know the color to know the octane
