is there any place cheaper to get new plastics (front and rear) for a 250sx than dennis kirk? i think it was $176.xx for both from them with free shipping. i dont like ordering from ebay, so thats out. any cheaper places? i would prefer new but would think about used depending on price and shape.

Try www.hyperparts.com.. thats where I ordered my plastics from. I think the grand total for a front and rear Maier fender was $132.something..

I think it took like 2 or 3 days. I'm not sure. I'm leaning towards 2. And $132 or so was the total with shipping I believe. May be wrong though.

Also with the maier fenders if you have wide tires or sometimes even stock they arnt as wide as the originals! and they are brighter!

well any thing is better then what i have right now. no fenders. when i bought it the front and rear were all broke up. so i cut off the rears and took off the front. which looks better than having big holes and other chunks missing out of it. and im tired of the trike looking all busted up when it runs damn good.

yeah the previuse (sp?) owner beat the crap out of it. i paid 300.00 for it and 200.00 for a 86 200s that was in the same shape from the same guy. body all beat to hell. but they run real good. neather one has broke down or any thing, except for dirty carbs. btw i sold the 200s to my buddy and he is geting news plastics for it probly from the same place and giving it to his son since he bought a 86 tri-z.

Rear OEM SX fenders in good shape are EXTREMLY hard to find! I have been looking for months now with no success! When I do find a set I wouldn't be suprised if they went for a 150 or so although when it's a auction anything can happen.
I got one goodie for the rear fender at my door just today that made me very,veryhappy though................ ...... quite nice!

I found a site that sells stock fenders for 260.00. It is www.thriftyrider.com. Check them out. I need a stock headlight for an 86. It has to be white. Thanks if you can help. Shanezoid.

Bummer, as I have a stock 85 headlight on ebay right now. You could always get a red one and get some Krylon fusion paint. In that location it would stay put a long time.
...........and thats a great site you found. How the heck do they have stock rear fenders yet though? I see they have the fronts too but I only need a mud flap and you have to buy the whole deal
