Personally i think points are better, they are easy to maintain and adjust(if you know how to do it) allso they are cheaper to replace. check the screws on the points(that hold them in place)for lock washers, whithout these the screws tend to come loose.
I just bought one, too! (For my daughter......sure!). I adjusted the points on mine...uh, I mean my daughter's, this weekend. Put one of my business cards in there to gap them, and locked it down. Works perfect.

Yeah, I know. I posted a thread a couple days ago when I got it, explaining my plan. She's only 10 months old. So over the next 2 years, I'll do a slow resto and it's be a great first trike. Until then, I'll have to keep it running, you know?![]()

They sell a cdi conversion for them on ebay runs around 100 bucks.
