83 atc 185s

I bought a 1983 honda atc 185s, which sat for 5+ years. I rebuilt the carb, replace the spark plug, change the fluids, and got it running. It ran great , but it would bogg full throttle. The strange thing is that it would only run on choke. Eventually it died, and would not start again. It has spark and it is getting gas. The spark plug color is black. Can someone tell me what went wrong?

Take a wire brush and scrape the tar out of the plug until it is nice and shiny again. My YTM200 did the same thing to me, a couple of times actually, it was because of too much carbon on the plug...clean it, put it back in, fired right up!
