Pulse generator out of spec .4ohms, Bad?

Service manual says 104 is the upside max on the pulse generator for the 500R. I had an electrical problem kill it yesterday. I also boogered up the threads on the crankshaft today checking other stuff but thats another story. The pulse generator specs out at 104.4 ohms, max is like I said 104 on the upside. I dont know if thats enough to totally knock it out of wack..I was in the middle of riding it and it just instantly quit like you turned the switch off on it. I tested the fire with my tether unplugged, with a new plug, not even a tickle. I can hold onto the plug and kick the **** out of it and nothing happens. I got a race with Ronnie up in GA this weekend with the room already reserved so I NEED to get this POS running if its at all possible.

Now would be a really good time to upgrade to a PVL or similiar ignition if I had the money to shell out for it...

What is the spec range for it? Knowing this may help figure out if .4 would make a difference.

I just looked through my book and I had the numbers mixed up. The stator #'s were 150-190. Its 85-104 on the pulse generator. Now I can't remember if I actually read 174 on that or it was the stator. I think it was 104.4 on the pulse generator...I guess I need to go back to the shop and check though to be sure. I'll write it down this time too

ok I just went back over and checked it again

    Alternator (Stator) Normal 150-190
    My Reading: 172.9 (Within spec)

    Pulse Generator Normal 85-104
My Reading: 174.4 and 174.2 (Out of Spec slightly)

I went a head and checked the coil even though it is just a month or two old..

    Ignition Coil Normal 0.1-0.2
My Reading: 0.5 (Out of spec)

I hope that was a typo. 174.4 is way out of spec. It it is correct then I would replace it.

Yeah...Sorry. Today hasn't been good. 104.2-104.4 is the 2 different readings I just got.
