I had already started a post on that in Trikesylvannia a few days ago. Right after I posted it in that one thread. If you guys can organize this and pull it together, that would be awesome. But it would take alot of time, dedication, and money. None of which I have; except maybe a little dedication. All the profit, if any, would be going to the site too, so you have to know that your work will be free..
And whoever said that their aunt and uncle have a printing shop, that is awesome. Talk to them about this idea. See if they are in support of it. That would be a major obstacle in this that is out of the way if they agree. Again.. like I said. It would be very hard to start and you would have to start small and have a big audience in support of it. But go for it. Get this going if you can..

Ok, were gonna do the email thing first. To see how it goes. Anyone who wants to write up articles, tell me. Post your email address on here if you want to recieve them. I can make the E-MAG, just we need people to write articles.

OK, Keeping track of everyones email address from this thread would just be nightmare. If you would like to recieve a newsletter and / or are in support of this idea, please email me your email address and your home address. I will create a database of those whop want to subscribe. Email to:
3wheelers @ venustel.com
(Please ignore the spaces in the above address, as I don't want it to be harvested by spammers.)
If you are interested in being a writer for the newsletter, or have ideas for the newsletter, please let me know so in the email. Also, we will need a name for our publication - mention this as well - and even do that in this thread. I'm gonna go ahead and get this ball rolling on this project, as I feel well qualified to do this, and feel I have the necessary resources to do alot.
I still have not heard back from my Aunt regarding prices on printing the newsletter, for a mailing publication, but hopefully today I'll get someting back from her. I personally would rather have a mailing subscription, as it is something you can hold on to, rather than just a file on your PC, but I guess in the right layout, you could print it out. We'll have to see how it goes and maybe the first couple will be via email.
I'll be checking the email frequently as to keep track of who is interested and who is not.
Thanks for your support,
ATCTim

I am more than willing to help out in writing an article in the e-zine, if you give me something to do then i will give it a whirl. A good thing to add into the e-zine would be a how to section, stuff like how to bleed brakes well etc. the main problem with doing it as a hard copy on paper is shipping. its gonna be a couple of dollars to get it to me lesss for us i know but still alot.

I would also like it to be on paper, I think tim is right. The first couple issues might be email type. Then it will be a true magazine. Send all your subscription addresses to tim.

You guys have me baffled...You'll write for a hard copy newsletter but not for the site? Weird.

I guess in my head this newsletter is kind of in conjunction with 3WW. I would gladly write for 3WW. Actually I am currently working on a restoration page to add to the site. Maybe we need to re-group our thoughts or something. Or maybe it would just kind of be neat to have something to hang in the garage, or take on a long road trip or set on the back of the toilet tank? I don't know. What do you think? I, in no way, want you guys to think that we are trying to step on your toes here, and I would hope that you wouldn't think that was. In my eyes, 3WW will always be the king of ATC Media, that's why I am in here everyday.
It might be kind of neat to have some kind of publication though. Haven't heard too many thoughts from the 3WW Team on these magazine threads though, so I thought I would take some initiative and do this.
The more we hear from everyone, the better it will be anyway. PM me with your thoughts please.

Just seemed strange and admittingly irritated me a bit when it has been me and Howdy doing all the writing on the site for the past 4-5 years. Not including the restoration pages and Super Junky.
If you guys get something going I definetly wont have any problems with it, I think it'll be a good thing. I dont think I'll realisticly be able to contribute much of anything because I dont even really spend the right amount of time on the site itself that it requires anymore. If you have something in mind though...tell me and I'll see if its feasible for me to do.

It looks like there are lots of people eager to write, so stop talking about it and start working on your articles. Billy is right. The site should be the medium to get this started. A few months down the road if there are lots of contributors and things are going well, then consider doing a .pdf or .tif format for mailling. I have mad grammar skills, solid riding skills, average wrenching skills, and would be happy to edit articles.
Woah, hold on there we have started to write.
And Billy, if your looking for someone to write for the site, i would be willing to help out there too. Just bear in mind my grammar skills arent too hot but ill give it my best shot.

Wow. Nice to see that my idea may actually happen.. lol.
I would like to be a part of this, as well. Although I dislike writing in all ways possible. I like editing and proofreading though.
