    250sx Brakes?

    Did any of the 250sx models come with Disk brakes.
    I have an '86 and would like to change it over if it's do able.
    any input good or bad will be helpfull.

    als250 did it, bolted a 200x front end to his, I've seen plenty of others done this way too, good luck!

    Nope. They never came w/ disk brakes. They were built for reliability. Im not sayin disks are not reliable, just not as reliable as drums. If you want more braking performance, bolt on the frontend of a 350x.

    Arent those hydraulic drum brakes like the TRX? If they are, youre not going to get any improvment from a hydraulic disk other than you wont have to do the manual brake adjustments all the time. If they are mechanical drum, it would be a worthwhile venture.

    Thanks for all of your Ideals, I'll lookin to the front Fork swap.
    I didn't know that the drum brakes were any better then disks.
    Always thought disks were more drpendable.
