I'll have to get some pics of the sleds. I had the f7 out yesterday and went ripping across the lawn to try out the new SLP, unfortunatly its a camera phone, and the pictures suck..but it gets the point across.

didn't they change the plastics on the R? around the headlight? the 05 looks alot better to me and I don;t really need electric start. I also like honda.

yfz450's are nice though and lonestar is correct that pic makes the bike look sexy.

Yes conig, they did change the plastic for '06. They also gave it more compression along with the electric start, and some other minor changes . And if I could post pics I would show you my '06. GREG

I have an 05 and the HRC kit is $226.95 and I am having it sent out tomorrow. I was beating a 05 YFZ 450 once I put my pipe and jet on my 450R. He changed the cam timing and rejetted with the airbox lid off (no needle and main jet), rev box and exhaust cap off and we dragged several more times. The 450r will get the holeshot almost everytime, but the YFZ will now catch and pass it at 700ft. They stay roughly the same distance apart until we slow down at 1100 ft. We swapped up bikes and results were the same. We both agreed that the YFZ revved faster in the conditions we were in with each bike in that specific state of tune, and the 450R was easier to ride and had superior ride quality (comfort). We were thinking that the HRC kit would wake up the 450R and make it rev quicker, we'll see.

That price for my HRC kit is shipped! Keep in mind that the 04-05 HRC kit is different than the 06 and is cheaper. The 06 HRC kit is $323 plus shipping.

I was looking at the honda site today and I was surprised. The 400ex looks just like the 450r. I'm a little behind on todays quads. So I thought I would check them out. 250ex looks 100 times better than before. 300ex is the same. 400ex still has a aircooled motor. They should really update it with the liquid cooling... I was reading atvconnection and everyone was complaining about the yfz450 seat and how uncomfortable the egos are? I also notice how expensive these things are nowadays. Geez, incredible. $8,000 for these things. I'd rather go out and buy three or four good condition 250r's or 350x's for that amount. 3wheels are better than 4!

I dont know what your buying, but damn..the most expensive sport quad i've seen is a 700 raptor for like 7100. I bought my 450r for 6100 otd, with nerfs, bumper, graphics kit, and HRC equipped.
