    350X exhaust/ my opinion

Listen , I bought a Cobra Jet back in 2000 when I had my 350X re-built, more or less because the stocker was pretty rusted up and I wanted to upgrade performance/appearance. Anyways, it got to the point for the following year after a day of riding with my pals, I had that constant thumping in my head ( too damn loud). So after little researching, I saw that James Lucky advertised a Cobra Sparky spark arrestor that slips on a Cobra Jet. So I gambled and bought one. It fit on nice and tight, it already had a hose clamp type fastener on it, plus a slot for a screw whichI drilled a hole for for extra fastening security. The only thing I had to do was pry off the "Cobra Exhaust" emblem that is sorta like a metal sticker if you will on the side of the silencer. It toned down that loud bark that my X had, and it has a nice throaty four stroke growl to it. Plus now its USFS approved. I think I paid 139.99 back in 2000 for the Cobra Jet, headers came with it, one reason I like the pipe. And in 2001 I think the Sparky was 65.00 or so. just my 2 pennies worth of ATC experience.

Yep. Sparkys are the only way to make a Cobra worth having.
