Has anyone looked at the new suzuki 450 in the new dirtwheels magazine? It looks pretty nice. They say it is race ready and some other goodies. This is even fuel injected too.

I have only seen it on the net. I think it's great that Suzuki is finally building a quad to cater to the MX crowd. Go figure, as soon as a production quad is built that is 49" wide, everyone starts complaining that it won't fit between trees. Frikken' whiners.

Its a nice ride for sure. I went to the ATV/Snowmobile powersport show in Toronto last week. Comes with 18s on the rear too. Looked awesome, specs look awesome. Should be a sweet ride. Only thhing that bothers me are the heel guards lol

that and the fuel injection kinda scares me if you could re map like the old cannondales then this would be awesome but im sure it will be like the raptor and will require extra crap to get it right

i've seen the pictures that thig is pretty ugly if you ask me...
it's hard to judge what any mag says about a new quad (especally dirtwheels) you really have to see the thing perform to make a good judgement on it.... the hype is BS.. just like the 400ex hype in 99 and the 450R hype a few years ago... bother were supposed to be "the new 250R" that was total BS.. and both were supposed "to outrun a banshee" to that i laugh.......
anyway i guess only time will tell. and i;d bank on a raptor style ECM... but this is all comming from a guy that loves reeds.... so what do i know haha

Yeah I just read about it in dirtwheels. Looks like a nice quad. I love the looks. Only time will tell what it will be like. I will never listen to what the magazine has to say. I just wish they would stick an average joe on these things and let them test it, then write about it in the issue. Maybe it would be more believable.

i;ve raced so many 450r's it isn't even funny.... modded, highly moddes, stock it doesn't matter.... all i had was t5 pipes... i eat up all my buddies with YFZs all the time... and i've seen my buddies YFZ tear up more than a few 450r's..... maybe the banshee guys you've ridden with are lacking soem ability.....

oh i missed your stock for stock thing... the banshee will still take the 450R... but who has a all stock banshe anymore??? doens't every banshee at least have pipes??

I have a ~80 gs 450. My dog chewed all the wires on it so it doesnt run anymore. (no, really. She really did.) What does the new one look like?
